Believing the Blogger
In one of his last recorded prayers before his death, Jesus declared: “this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3). It is a remarkable fact that our salvation – life eternal – should link so closely with our knowledge of God.
Jesus always worked on the relationship with his Father and took care that others got to know his Father, without Jesus is nothing and who is mightier than Jesus.
“then jesus answered and said to them, truly, truly, I say to you, the son can do nothing of himself but what he sees the father do. for whatever things he does, these also the son does likewise.” (John 5:19 MKJV)
“19 Therefore יהושע {Jeshua } responded and said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is able to do none at all by Himself, but only that which He sees the Father doing, because whatever He does, the Son also likewise does. 20 “For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all that He Himself does. And greater works than these He is going to show Him, in order that you marvel. 21 “For as the Father raises the dead and makes alive, even so the Son makes alive whom He wishes. 22 “For the Father judges no one, but has given all the judgment to the Son, 23 that all should value the Son even as they value the Father. He who does not value the Son does not value the Father who sent Him. 24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me possesses everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of Elohim. And those having heard shall live. 26 “For as the Father possesses life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to possess life in Himself, 27 and He has given Him authority also to do judgment, because He is the Son of Ad’am. 28 “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the tombs shall hear His voice, 29 and shall come forth – those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have practised evil matters, to a resurrection of judgment. 30 “Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me. 31 “If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32 “There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true.” (John 5:19-32 The Scriptures 1998+)
“you have heard how I said to you, I go away and I am coming to you [again]. if you loved me, you would rejoice because I said, I go to the father, for my father is greater than I.” (John 14:28 MKJV)
“28 You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you did love Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. 29 “And now I have told you before it takes place, that when it does take place, you shall believe.” (John 14:28-29 The Scriptures 1998+)
Jesus, on several occasions took time to go in seclusion to talk with his Father. He prayed at many occasions and believed that his Father would listen to him and would react according to God His will and not to the will of Christ.
“saying, father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42 MKJV)
“ (41) And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and falling on His knees He was praying, (42) saying, “Father, if it be Your counsel, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My desire, but let Yours be done.” (Luke 22:41-42 The Scriptures 1998+)
Jesus wanted that not he would be worshipped, but his Father in heaven, and that this Only One God should be worshipped in spirit and truth.
“God is Spirit; and those who worship him must worship spiritually and truly.”” (John 4:24 TWENTY)
“ (21) יהושע {Jeshua}said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you shall neither on this mountain, nor in Yerushalayim, worship the Father. (22) “You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the deliverance is of the Yehuḏim.{1} {Footnote: 1 Ps. 147:19, Isa. 2:3, Isa. 14:1, Isa. 56:6-8, Ezek. 47:22-23, Zech. 2:10-11, Zech. 8:23, Rom. 2:20, Rom. 3:2, Rom. 9:4, Rev. 21:12 & 24.} (23) “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him. (24) “Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:21-24 The Scriptures 1998+)
“but without faith [it is] impossible to please [him], for he who comes to god must believe that he is and [that] he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6 MKJV)
” (6) But without belief it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Elohim has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.” (Heb 11:6 The Scriptures 1998+)
In case we do not believe that God exists we shall not be able to understand Him nor be able to come up to Him. Believing in God is one of the key points to be able to hear Him. we must believe that He exists even when we cannot see Him. If we look around carefully we shall be able to see the Works He does.
If there was incontrovertible proof of God’s existence, proof that could not be denied, we would all be automatons – robots unable to think for ourselves or respond in love towards our Creator. Without the possibility of denying there is a God, there is no room for faithful acceptance. So there has to be room for doubt in order for there to be room for faith. There has to be two paths in order that we have a choice of which route to follow. If, because it suits our lifestyle, we try to deny the existence of God, we will find many reasons to believe the sceptics: the world is not slow to prove its cynical point.
Many, however, prompted by the study of God’s word or a sense of the intricately designed beauty of nature, choose the path of faith. And when we do, evidence suddenly appears everywhere. It appears in the world around us: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork” (Psalm 19:1). It appears in the remarkable design of living things: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). It appears in God’s word which in all its intricacy and detail demonstrates time and again the hand of God. And, perhaps above all this, evidence appears in the form of Biblical prophecies, which have come true.
When God exists that is a reason to get to know Him better. Once we do know that He exists we also should believe that He is The Spirit who is willing to guide His people and prepared to talk to them. We should trust that we are able to hear Him, the Only One Jehovah God. He is the One who creates everything, sees everything, hears everything, can make but also can end everything.
“I [am] Jehovah, and [there is] none else, no god besides me; I clothed you, though you have not known me;” (Isaiah 45:5 MKJV)
“forming the light and creating darkness; making peace and creating evil. I Jehovah do all these [things].” (Isaiah 45:7 MKJV)
“(5) ‘I am יהוה {Jehovah}, and there is none else – there is no Elohim besides Me. I gird you, though you have not known Me, (6) so that they know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none but Me. I am יהוה {Jehovah}, and there is none else, (7) forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil. I, יהוה {Jehovah}, do all these.’” (Isaiah 45:5-7 The Scriptures 1998+)
“hear, O, Israel. Jehovah our god [is] one Jehovah.” (Deuteronomy 6:4 MKJV)
” (4) “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה {Jehovah} our Elohim, יהוה {Jehovah} is one!” (Deuteronomy 6:4 The Scriptures 1998+)
“29 and jesus answered him, the first of all the commandments [is], “hear, O Israel, [the] lord our god is one lord; 30 and you shall love [the] lord your god with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” this [is] the first commandment.” (Mark 12:29-30 MKJV)
” (29) And יהושע {Jeshua} answered him, “The first of all the commands is, ‘Hear, O Yisra’ĕl, יהוה {Jehovah} our Elohim, יהוה {Jehovah} is one. (30) ‘And you shall love יהוה {Jehovah} your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first command.” (Markus 12:29-30 The Scriptures 1998+)
“and answering, he said, you shall love [the] lord your god with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27 MKJV)
“ (27) And he answering, said, “ ‘You shall love יהוה {Jehovah} your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbour as yourself.’ ” (Luke 10:27 The Scriptures 1998+)
“I [am] Jehovah; that [is] my name; and my glory I will not give to another, nor my praise to graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8 MKJV)
“1 “See, My Servant whom I uphold, My Chosen One My being has delighted in! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He brings forth right-ruling to the nations. 2 “He does not cry out, nor lifts up His voice, nor causes His voice to be heard in the street. 3 “A crushed reed He does not break, and smoking flax He does not quench. He brings forth right-ruling in accordance with truth. 4 “He does not become weak or crushed, until He has established right-ruling in the earth. And the coastlands wait for His Torah.” 5 Thus said the Ěl, יהוה {Jehovah }, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it: 6 “I, יהוה {Jehovah }, have called You in righteousness, and I take hold of Your hand and guard You, and give You for a covenant to a people, for a light to the gentiles, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. 8 “I am יהוה {Jehovah }, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols. ” (Isaiah 42:1-8 The Scriptures 1998+)
“I, I [am] Jehovah; and [there is] none to save besides me.” (Isaiah 43:11 MKJV)
” (11) “I, I am יהוה {Jehovah}, and besides Me there is no saviour.” (Isaiah 43:11 The Scriptures 1998+)

Because He loved you so much. When man sinned, God demanded a sacrifice. For thousands of years, men had to offer spotless lambs to appease the judgment of God. Every year, the High Priest would go into the the most holy place and make atonement for the sin of the people. If there was even one un-confessed sin in that priest, or even one spot in that burnt sacrifice, the priest would die. God demanded perfect righteousness. - Listen: When God Pursues You (blackchristiannews.com)
The reason why God chases after us is because even though we think we know our way through this life, without God, we are really lost, wandering souls burdened down by sin and the consequences of sin. The lack of Bible reading, God pursuing, and prayer puts us in a dangerous situation. When we have no understanding of God’s Word, and never seek to dig any deeper, we begin to compromise. (manuprbm.wordpress.com)
Without an understanding of what the gospel is, there is no way that anyone could ever try to explain any of the things of God. It is the foundational principle Christianity is built on. Without the gospel, everything we say or do in the name of Jesus, or for any reason, would be pointless. That is why it is so vitally important to understand what we actually mean when we talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The word gospel literally means good news. So when we talk about the gospel it is literally the good news of Jesus coming and making a way for us sinful people to have a right relationship with God. This gospel story is all throughout the bible, which is God’s perfect Word to us and the only thing from God that we physically have today. That is why it is so important to study the bible and live out the gospel through the ministry that God has given each one of us. - Faithful to Christ (nickbabineaux.com)
To be faithful to Christ you must not only believe in the reality of Him, but also agree with Him. You must believe in what He has promised, what He instructs, what He says about you as a child of God, what He says about the Father, what He says about life and death, heaven and hell.
