Time passing away

“1  “now, Isra’el, listen to the laws and rulings I am teaching you, in order to follow them, so that you will live; then you will go in and take possession of the land that ADONAI, the god of your fathers, is giving you. 2 in order to obey the mitzvot of ADONAI your god which I am giving you, do not add to what I am saying, and do not subtract from it.” (Deuteronomy 4:1-2 CJB)

“it is to remain with him, and he is to read in it every day, as long as he lives; so that he will learn to fear ADONAI his god and keep all the words of this torah and these laws and obey them;” (Deuteronomy 17:19 CJB)

“I treasure your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11 CJB)

“your word continues forever, ADONAI, firmly fixed in heaven;” (Psalms 119:89 CJB)

“your word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.” (Psalms 119:105 CJB)

“119 you discard the wicked of the earth like slag; this is why I love your instruction. 120 my body trembles for fear of you; your rulings make me afraid. 121  I have done what is just and right; don’t abandon me to my oppressors. 122 guarantee your servant’s well-being; don’t let the arrogant oppress me. 123  my eyes fail from watching for your salvation and for (the fulfillment of) your righteous promise. 124  deal with your servant in accordance with your grace, and teach me your laws. 125 I am your servant; give me understanding, so that I can know your instruction. 126  the time has come for ADONAI to act, because they are breaking your torah. 127  therefore I love your mitzvot more than gold, more than fine gold. 128 thus I direct my steps by (your) precepts; every false way I hate. 129  your instruction is a wonder; this is why I follow it. 130  your words are a doorway that lets in light, giving understanding to the thoughtless.” (Psalms 119:119-130 CJB)

“so is my word that goes out from my mouth— it will not return to me unfulfilled; but it will accomplish what I intend, and cause to succeed what I sent it to do.”” (Isaiah 55:11 CJB)

“16 all Scripture is god-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults and training in right living; 17 thus anyone who belongs to god may be fully equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 CJB)

“6 (12:7) the words of ADONAI are pure words, silver in a melting-pot set in the earth, refined and purified seven times over. 7 (12:8) you, ADONAI, protect us; guard us forever from this generation—” (Psalms 12:6-7 CJB)

“5 every word of god’s is pure; he shields those taking refuge in him. 6 don’t add anything to his words; or he will rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:5-6 CJB)

“18 yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the torah – not until everything that must happen has happened. 19 so whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. but whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19 CJB)

“heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away.” (Mark 13:31 CJB)

“but it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter in the torah to become void.” (Luke 16:17 CJB)

“for everything written in the past was written to teach us, so that with the encouragement of the Tanakh we might patiently hold on to our hope.” (Romans 15:4 CJB)

“but the word of ADONAI lasts forever. moreover, this word is the good news which has been proclaimed to you.” (1 Peter 1:25 CJB)

“18 I warn everyone hearing the words of the prophecy in this book that if anyone adds to them, god will add to him the plagues written in this book. 19 and if anyone takes anything away from the words in the book of this prophecy, god will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city, as described in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19 CJB)

  • Overcome Your Fears With These 50 Scripture Verses (vincentegoroblog.wordpress.com)
Too many of us are held back in life, not by our environments, or hunger or poverty or a lack of talents and skills, or a lack of education. We are stopped by our fears, especially the fear of the unknown. We fear when things go wrong, we also fear when things go right, and so on.
  • An Uncertain Sound (xulonthoughts.wordpress.com)
There certainly seems to be an extremely vocal – but very confused and uncertain sound coming from much of the modern church and Christianity these days.  It is growing louder with every passing year – as the apostasy of man’s last days draw near (2 Timothy 3:1-7).  It shows no signs of being silenced soon.It is becoming an almost mind-numbing and annoying noise to a growing number of people who might be secretly wishing it would just stop.  Sounding as if millions of Christians all around the world are absent-mindedly jangling their believer keys.  Everyone at once, with no real reason to do so (1 Timothy 1:6).

  • Knowing Who I Am in Christ (scottsholar.com)
I am submitted to God, and the devil flees from me because I resist him in the Name of Jesus (James 4:7).I press on toward the goal to win the prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward (Philippians 3:14).

For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

It is not I who live, but Christ lives in me (Galatians 2:20).

  • The Greatest Wish (jtgn.wordpress.com)
“Why would God need to bother with ‘wishes’? He’s God! He can have and do whatever He wants!” Well, yes; f you’re alluding to God’s ultimate Sovereignty, that’s absolutely true. But if you take into account how He’s already set up His System, that’s absolutely false – and it’s all because of a widely-known and even more widely misunderstood concept known as “free choice.” But I digress…
