Sacrifices in the Millennium

The return of Jesus will herald in the age to come! We do know that the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory and that at that time there shall begin a major increase of the kingdom of God, that shall not be threatened by its enemies anymore after Lucifer’s attempt to overthrow God and his kingdom by stealing God’s throne for himself, did not succeed because Jesus shall be the victorious prince, him having made an end to the “god of this age”.
After the judgement of the living and the dead at Jesus his appearing and His kingdom the justified shall continue to praise the Most High.

Today we live in the present time which is sin-laden and demands often to bring many offers on different levels. The difficulties we now still have to encounter shall not be any more in the “age to come” which also brings eternal life of the eternal order (Luke 18:30).
The offers then we shall not have to be brought up for people, but shall be ‘set apart’ offers for the Only One True God. We also shall keep gathering in houses of prayer and all shall honour Jehovah in unity with the knowledge that Jesus is the most perfect offer been brought before our heavenly Father, our and Jesus his God.

Sacrifices in the Millennium

There are many portions of Holy Writ which clearly affirm that annual sacrifices will be reinstituted in the Age to Come. Here are a few of such.

In Isa. lvi. 7, after speaking of the seekers after truth, God says:

“Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on my altar; for mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people”.

The latter statement shows clearly that the Millennium is the time referred to.

The Psalmist, too, in referring to Zion’s Glad Morning, says:

“Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar” (Psalm li. 19).

Special tables for such sacrifices, in the Age to Come, are detailed in Ezekiel xl. 41, 42. Details of the Millennial Sacrifices will also be found in Ezek. xlvi. 3, 4.
